Limitations

• Unsuitable Surfaces:
  • Not recommended for floors or surfaces subject to water immersion or prolonged contact with water, such as shower enclosures, saunas, or steam rooms.
  • Not suitable for HVAC duct work.
• Surface Preparation:
  • Requires priming before application on bare plaster.
  • Not compatible with lime plaster or lime renders.
  • For damp surfaces, use a waterproofing paint for masonry prone to water intrusion. Mould Guard can be applied over quality waterproofing paint to prevent mould and mildew growth on the paint film.
  • Stains such as rust, tannin, grease, mould, and mildew should be blocked with an appropriate stain-killing primer-sealer.
