📝 Product Description

Zinsser Watertite Mould & Mildew-Proof Waterproofing Paint is a heavy-duty masonry water-proofer guaranteed to keep water out of basements, cellars, and masonry surfaces.

Formulated with an advanced biocide, it protects the dried coating against fungal degradation, mould, and mildew growth for a minimum of 5 years. It can be applied directly to wet or dry masonry surfaces, drying to a smooth, bright white, non-gritty finish that can be left as a topcoat or painted over.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • 5-Year Waterproof & Mould-Proof Guarantee: Contains a powerful biocide that prevents fungal growth and mildew degradation on the paint film.

  • Stops Water Pressure: Specially designed to withstand water pressure on interior and exterior basement walls, cellars, and masonry.

  • Wet or Dry Application: Can be applied directly onto damp or dry porous masonry surfaces.

  • Smooth Finish: Dries to a bright white, non-gritty, smooth surface that easily accepts topcoats if decorative painting is desired.

  • Versatile Substrates: Ideal for concrete, cinder block, brick, stucco, and unglazed tile.

Application & Surface Prep:

  • Ideal For: Cellars, basements, retaining walls, foundations, and damp masonry environments.

  • Application Method: Brush or medium-pile roller. Ensure thorough coverage into all voids and pores.

  • Recommended Coverage:
On rough, porous masonry apply both coats at a rate of
2m2 per litre. On smooth, denser surfaces and those
previously painted, apply the first coat as above. The
second coat can be applied at a rate of 2.5m2 per litre.
