Tikkurila Otex is a quick-drying, solvent-borne alkyd adhesion primer engineered to provide maximum grip on challenging and non-porous surfaces. Famous for its exceptional bonding power, Otex creates a strong anchor coat on smooth, glossy, or tricky substrates where standard primers fail to stick.
It is ideal for both interior and exterior renovation projects, successfully adhering to glass, glazed tiles, fiberglass, PVC, laminate, melamine, and previously varnished or lacquered surfaces. Otex levels smoothly, dries rapidly, and can be topcoated with either solvent-based or water-based finish paints, ensuring long-lasting performance and coat durability without extensive surface abrasion.
