A striking bright gold with a warm orange hue, this shade is as bold and beautiful as a sunflower. Dark Gold suits planters and trellises, and also looks effective as a companion colour to Wood Stain and Protect Ebony on fences and garden buildings. Even dark old timer can be lightened and brightened by applying two or more coats of this versatile paint.

This is a protective water-repellent coating. If your timber isn't treated with a preservative then depending on the type of wood and product, you may want to use our Wood Preserver Plus first.
For light colours, we recommend using our Stain Blocking Primer to prevent the top coat discolouring from possible tannin bleed.
