Product Story
An abstract geometric print with a surprisingly modern edge, Lower George Street dates back to around 1810—a period when star motifs were hugely popular across British interiors.
The original historic fragment, featuring vibrant orange stars set against a soft pinkish-yellow backdrop, was unearthed during the restoration of an upper floor in a commercial building. Though the building's exterior facade had been updated in the early nineteenth century, the underlying structure was vastly older. As part of the London Wallpapers V collection, this historic artifact has been masterfully adapted and recoloured to bring vintage architectural character into contemporary homes.
