Originally designed by children’s book illustrator Walter Crane and printed by London’s Jeffrey & Co., Briar Rose started as the backdrop to his iconic The Sleeping Beauty pattern. Part of the National Trust Papers III collection, this dense, stylised botanical motif was preserved from archives at Oxburgh Hall and retains all the timeless elegance of classic Arts & Crafts design.

Each roll is crafted using traditional surface printing methods—in use for over a century—to deliver rich texture, depth of colour, and high-quality non-woven durability. Perfect for adding character to living rooms, bedrooms, or dining spaces.
