Johnstone's Stormshield Flexible Satin is a premium quality, microporous satin paint specifically formulated to provide exceptional, longer-lasting protection for exterior woodwork. Its advanced flexible and microporous coating is designed to expand and contract with the surface, offering excellent resistance to cracking, flaking, and blistering, which delivers increased durability over conventional gloss paints.

This high-performance paint provides up to 8 years of protection when applied as part of a complete Stormshield system, and is suitable for use on exterior softwood, hardwood, plywood panels, and suitably primed metal surfaces. Available in the 2.5 litre & 1 litre size, it can be tinted to over 16,000 colours via the Johnstone's tinting system.

Application & Preparation

Application: Stir well before and during use. Apply by brush or roller.

Preparation: All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from loose or flaking material. For best results and to achieve the 8-year lifespan, the paint must be used as part of a system with Johnstone's Stormshield Flexible Primer Undercoat on bare or previously painted wood. Bare metal should be primed with an appropriate metal primer. Special precautions should be taken when preparing pre-1960s paint surfaces that may contain lead.

Cleaning: Clean equipment immediately after use with White Spirit or Turpentine Substitute.
