Farrow & Ball Casein Distemper is a specialist, traditional interior finish designed for historic, period, and heritage properties. Formulated with casein milk proteins and natural pigments, it delivers a flat matt, breathable coating that allows moisture to pass freely through old plaster, lime, and brickwork. Highly favoured for restoring ornate plasterwork, cornicing, and historic walls, Casein Distemper offers greater wipeability and durability than standard soft distempers while maintaining an authentic, chalky aesthetic.
