Application Instructions

Preparation

1. Ensure the wood is reasonably dry and free from grease, oil, dust and loose particles 

2. Remove any completely decayed or very soft, crumbly wood until a fairly sound base is exposed 

3. For best results, drill small holes into the damaged area to achieve even deeper hardening 

Application

1. Shake the tin thoroughly before opening 

2. Decant a small amount into the lid or a small container 

3. Apply liberally to the softened wood with a paint brush 

4. Ensure full absorption—soak the affected area thoroughly 

5. Leave for 2 hours to dry 

6. Remove any excess hardener with a stiff brush 

Finishing

Once fully dry, apply Ronseal High Performance Wood Filler. After filling and sanding, the surface is ready to be painted, stained, or finished as required .

Important Note

Avoid contact with glass, metal, plastic and painted surfaces during application. Do not use this product as a surface treatment or primer . Always wear protective gloves and ensure adequate ventilation when using indoors
