Osmo Polyx-Oil Effect Raw (3044) is an advanced, protective hardwax-oil finish designed specifically to keep light-colored interior wooden floors and furniture looking naturally untreated. Standard clear oils tend to accentuate the grain, leaving a permanent ambered or "wet look"—Osmo 3044 contains a tiny amount of white pigment to counteract this darkening effect, retaining the natural, pale tone of raw timber.

Engineered from natural plant oils and waxes, it penetrates deeply into the wood while leaving a micro-porous, hardwearing surface layer that defends against high foot traffic, daily wear, and liquid spills.

Application & Usage

• Ideal Surfaces: Interior light wood species (e.g., Oak, Pine, Spruce) flooring, parquet, OSB, furniture, and cabinet doors. (Note: Not recommended for dark timber species like Walnut, Wenge, or Jarrah, as white pigments may appear chalky).

• Coverage: Up to 24 m² per liter per coat on smooth timber surfaces.

• Drying Time: Approximately 24 hours under normal climatic conditions (+23°C / 50% relative humidity).

• System Recommendation: Apply 1 thin coat of Polyx-Oil Effect Raw 3044 using an Osmo Microfibre Roller or flat floor brush, followed by 1 coat of clear Osmo Polyx-Oil Original (e.g., 3032 Matt or 3062 Satin) to lock in the finish.
