Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Flexible Primer Undercoat is a premium quality, solvent-based primer and undercoat in one . It is specially formulated to provide longer-lasting protection for exterior woodwork and suitably primed metal surfaces .
This high-performance basecoat is designed to be used as part of a complete system with Johnstone's Trade Stormshield Flexible Gloss or Satin topcoats . The unique microporous, flexible formulation moves with the natural expansion and contraction of exterior timber, resisting cracking, flaking, and blistering far longer than conventional undercoats . When used as part of a full system, it provides up to 8 years of life expectancy before the first maintenance is required .
