🛠️ Application & System Recommendations

  • Surface Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, or flaking paint. Lightly abrade previously painted wood or metal to create a key. Treat bare wood knots with a knotting solution and prime bare surfaces with an appropriate primer/undercoat.   

  • Recommended System: Apply 1 coat of Fleetwood Traditional Undercoat followed by 1–2 coats of Fleetwood Traditional Super Satinwood for maximum opacity and durability.   

  • Heat Resistance: Suitable for use on radiators and heated water pipes (note: elevated temperatures may accelerate initial oil-based yellowing).   

  • Application Conditions: Do not apply in ambient temperatures below 5°C or in conditions of high relative humidity.   

  • Clean-Up: Wipe excess paint off tools and clean thoroughly with White Spirit immediately after use.
